I wouldn't hold your breath -- Kodansha have licenced out other properties but Ashinano-san's work and themes are somewhat niche. I don't think slice-of-life manga storylines fly off the shelves in the West the way samurai epics, supernatural stories or even yaoi/yuri themed-mangas do. VIZ, Tokyopop, Yen Press etc. are all trying to make a profit by selling lots of translated mangas to Joe Public, not a few copies to enthusiasts.
