Here are some more poems. One came to me suddenly, one is a continuation of a february poem and the other is a run-on sentence.

I am in love with "lighthousekeeping"...it's absolutely wonderful. The other two are amazing as well, but something about xvii. just strikes a cord with me.

Ohhh thank you c:
It sort of came out all of a sudden and I didn't like it at first, but the more I re-read it the more I warm up to it. I am glad you like my poetry in any case... yours is fantastic, too!

Thank you! And, I do thoroughly enjoy your poetry. I'm glad I stumbled upon your journal. haha. Actually, a lot of times I read my lj friends, and I'm always curious why they haven't tried to publish any of it cause it's so good. Have you thought about it? I used to have a friend who sent her's off to this journal that I thought would have been perfect...but, now I can't remember the name. I will have to look into it.

My boyfriend has been encouraging me to send in some of mine, but I never feel like it's good enough. Plus, I'm afraid of rejection slips. haha.

I actually do have just one poem published... I wrote it when I was 15. It's in some anthology floating around some schools somewhere. I always feel like I need to write something more universal-sounding, less personal, to publish. You know? But... maybe I should.
Try to get published again, I mean. Not change how I write.
