I think this is a great idea.

California is the epitome of the American nanny state:
you can't even buy low temperature car window washer fluid there for some unknown reason, because some busybody banned it.

If anything can loosen the sphincter of CA, it's a hybrid gay issue.

I get my NV CCW permit on Saturday, good in numerous other states. Hope to see CA on that list soon. =]

It's weird to me how the right to own firearms is the one right that is seen as conservative.

Indeed...I just don't get it. Choosing one half of my freedom over the other half makes no sense to me.

Sac Valley Shooting Center (out in Ione) is a nifty place, especially on weekday mornings. Pretty much all of the female CO's go shooting then, and a bunch of the stodgy old ex-police guys don't go anymore because the girls are pretty badass.

Also, my dad runs the local chapter of the NBRSA after a rather dramatic coup, partially based on the fact that the old group wouldn't allow women or homosexuals in the club (illegally).

There is hope yet.

Also, we need to get to gether and talk about firarms and noise and general mayhem, Jets!
