Heroes 3x5 in a nutshell

I give the writers 10 minutes of the next episode to correct the...mistake perpetrated in this episode or I'm out. Because that was straight out character derailment.

People who watched this episode KNOW what I'm talking about.

Oh I definitely agree with you. Static characters are no fun, and exploring the Heroes inner "villain" is bound to be fun. After all, doing right simply because it's "right" is boring. Doing right because a person knows their inner darkness but chooses not to embrace it is far more compelling.

It's just that Hiro is one of my favorite characters and he and Ando are one of my favorite parts of the show, and I adore their geeky friendship. Testing that friendship could be very compelling, but I don't want that particular avenue explored if it means OOC behavior for one or both characters. Blame my worry on how they handed Claire and West in Season 2.

And the creators really enjoy messing around with the fanbase. Sometimes to it's detriment (Look at some of the more serious lows in Season 2) but most of the time for it's benefit. Where else can you find a show that's this crazy?
