Oh wow, I didn't think anyone would really see this. It was more of an "in case" kind of post. Are you still watching the show? If you are: What are your thoughts on 14x01? Since it's such a huge fandom, I'm still having trouble finding my place in fandom, i.e. finding other people / connecting to them, especially since I'm not a fan of tumblr and don't want to go looking there (for different reasons. For example, I want to stay spoiler free).
I haven't given up on the show but i am also not up to date, it's more of a "on my list to finish" kind of thing. I am towards the end of season six! So you won't get any spoilers from me haha :D I love Dean and Cas :) Yeah it is a truly huge fandom but i think there are a lot of communities on LiveJournal and Dreamwidth that might be good and i think there are quite a lot of the old White Collar group who are SPN fans :)
Oh wow, you are behind. :) As a Cas fan, I wasn't a huge fan of seasons 7 and 8 (too little Cas). But my all-time favorite episodes are in season 12, so from my point of view you still have some great stuff ahead of you. You're right, there are a lot of communities, but as far as I can tell, most of them not active anymore. But maybe I haven't really been looking and should actively try to seek out corners apart from tumblr where there is still some SPN action going on...
