But I WILL come back to Japan. I will enter my high school again and continue my Japanese life just like before. I can't let my exchange year end like this.

I feel really sorry you need to go back Finland. I’m originally from Saitama prefecture, and my high school also accepts some exchange students from EU. So, I know how exchange students enjoy and challenge to their school life...

I strongly hope that you will have a chance to come to Japan again as an exchange student and will have a great time!! Also, I hope you will not have any negative images about Japan. This earthquake was very unfortunate for Japan, but usually, Japan has lots of fan to see/stay.^^

After the earthquake, many people have difficulty to sleep/relax. I wish you will take an enough rest at home. Take care.

It's been decided that I can continue my exchange year when my exchange association has been confirmed that it's safe live near Fukushima again. This will take some time, though...

Can I ask you where in Saitama did you live?
