I wonder what exactly would happen to them. Would said non-heathen god command them to stop? Perhaps it would be a Waiting for Godot thing:
Sparrow: Let's stop.
Barbossa: We can't.
Sparrow: Why not?
Barbossa: We're waiting for non-heathen!God.
Sparrow: Ah.

Yeah, I did too. We had an Indiana Jones marathon and we pointed out all of the scientific errors. It was sort of completely awful.
