Happy Fall! Football season is upon us and to celebrate the start of the NFL season this weekend and last weekend's beginning to the NCAA season, I have 36 football icons. They feature my two favorite teams, the Cleveland Browns (mostly Brady Quinn, Bernie Kosar, and Jim Brown) and the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish. All pics from Google ( Read more... )

Haha I was wondering what your reaction would be. I've got my Brady Quinn jersey all ready to go for Sunday. Too bad the game's on here at 10am and my FOX is showing the Cowboys/Bucs game instead. :(

I need a Brady jersey! Maybe I can get one when I go to Cleveland...*whistles innocently*

I actually got mine here in AZ at a sports shop. They had jerseys from all over the NFL, which was really surprising.

Hello there!

I saw the Browns on the news this morning and thought of you. :) Sky Sports News likes their NFL highlights, shame they lost put that punt return was greeeat stuff. I can't say I have a particular team that I follow, I like them all.

Hope your trip was good and that the kids aren't running you too ragged now you're back at school.

It was quite a sad game from what I've heard; I didn't get it here in AZ. The kids are doing alright; we're almost done with the first quarter already. I did not see the fic; I'll have to check it out!

I listened to Bengals v Steelers on the radio last night, Five Live are kindly giving us one broadcast every Sunday at 9pm. Started to feel myself drifting off at about 11:30, midway through the third quarter and decided that the Steelers had it wrapped up so it would be OK to go to bed. Hmm, well, I didn't count on the touchdown pass with 14secs to go for the Bengals, did I? Oh well. I'm really into the NFL at the moment. I don't know why. I just think all the players have so much skill, whether the QB or the backs or the WRs. A fair few people in the UK texted in to the programme too, so it's good to know there are a bunch of NFL fans out there. My colleagues all hate American football. I think people here should take the time to watch and understand and they would know how it all works ( ... )

Finally got around to reading it today. I love it! Gorgeous imagery, as usual, great contrast of colors and emotions. I've missed your writing!

Thanks. :) I've missed doing it too, but I have found the time to read a lot more at the moment which really helps.

I have planned for a few more chapters but as I said in the A/N, no promises. I'm not sure it is really going anywhere yet.

It can be hard to judge sometimes how long something is going to go. To be honest, the long one I did was originally supposed to go into a totally different direction with Maggie. She ended up not being in the story at all. It's frustrating how they write themselves sometimes.
