Poor Jim, the punches keep on coming, one after another. And poor Rachel, but she's strong and she's angry right now, and that helps, for the time being.

Oh wow...ok, so THAT definitely changed, LOL. :P So Two Face doesn't happen in this 'verse? Not sure whether to be relieved or disappointed by that, haha. :D
Oh, and Rachel! ::huggles:: Never thought I'd ever want to glomp her, but I really really do right now. :( :( :(
Another awesome installment! I LOVE that Gordon has a bigger role against the Joker, so I'm wondering how that changes things! :D

I love the way you're adapting canon here, the changes that keep the focus on Jim, but keep the story recognisable, really well done. (And OMG if Montoya had been in canon and died I would have gone CRAZY!!)

Oh man. That I didn't expect! I'm so excited about how you wrap this segment all up. Thank god Montoya is alive! I couldn't bear the thought of her dying. Who would sass Jim if Renee had died in the explosion! Can't wait for the next chapter!
