Rogue Squadron: a biased (re)casting.

This has been a long time coming, I've been casting and recasting these characters for years, ever since I've read the novels. This is by no means the ultimate version, and I'm sure I'll be changing my mind many times over, but for now, they are my cast, my dream cast. I want this series to be made into a tv show so much, I'd give up any other tv

Actors need more than looks

your choices for both booster terrik and kirtan loor: neither have the height to pull off the roles, nor sheppard the bulk for booster. plus marsters would need a lot of work to pull off the look of "a young, taller grand moff tarken. that and wahlberg would be too expensive to cast in a tv show.

Point, of course. But this was me having fun and not casting a real tv show. (God, I'd love to have enough money to make a tv show...)

I think that if the show was really being made, too, it would never, ever, be made with more than one-two of the actours here: because all of them together would be too damn expensive. About 80% of the cast would probably be actours who had one or two guest appearances on other shows, or would be total newcomers. But I'm not a casting director, after all ;D

Who would you cast as Booster and Kirtan? Of course, there's the actour who played young Tarkin in that one scene in RotS. And I have to admit that Mark Sheppard was less an inspiring casting choice and more me having fun with casting Mark Sheppard, because of my firm belief that he needs to be in every tv show made. He really does (and he's made an excellent head start on thst :D)

How about using the real actors used for the characters. The images used are from actual actors in Hollywood.

Errgggg, you got Kell Tainer all wrong. No dreamy BLUE eyes. I can appreciate artistic freedom, but please re-read the books.

I also got the impression that Kell was much taller than Len Roberts' 6'2".

Just wanted to say that I've admired your page from afar ever since I first stumbled across it. As a fellow obsessee I can completely identify with your casting quest. :D

But I *HAVE* to argue this point - Jamie Bamber has, for years, been my Tycho rather than Wedge :P Have you seen him in Hornblower?
