I love you for putting Zsasz in this, so many people realize he was in BB.

Aw, Gordon asking if Batman would tell him who he was, was a little bit heartbreaking in a way, and then not actually asking.

Anyway, more more? yes?

I've been reading No Man's Land lately, I mean, re-reading most of it, but finally the whole and finally in the right order, and I realised I want Zsasz in here. I'm just slightly fumbling with his Nolanverse story here (promotional material for TDK had him still 'at large', I made him 'presumed dead' for the sake of the plot ;D)... I like him as a villain here since he's one of the very few actual serial killers the Batverse has, not a masked villain with a flare for theatrics and a catchy name, but just a thug and a psycho.

I think a lot of this story is about trust, how it's given and how it's earned, and how they have to regain this here, because as much as Bruce understands Gordon leaving, he was still hurt by it (which he is not admitting, even to himself), and I think that Jim is more angry at himself for leaving than Bruce is...

Ah, to think I intended it as a three-four parts story. It's getting bigger with every part, and it acquired a background crime plot :D

I think I watch too much CSI ;D

Great new chapter. Especially the end was stunning. As Gordon, I was surprised about the trust Batman still has in the Commissioner.
I am looking forward to the next chapter ;)

I haven't been commenting the way I should, but this is great. I'm always impressed with people who can write case files (my favorite thing about Batman is that he's a detective--well, that and the angst). Also, your character development is *always* excellent.

been busy working and writing (finished a new chapter of SLC).
I will read this tomorrow, but I want you to know that I envy your style and the small times between updates.
Wish I have your speed (and/or a better grasp on English).

This is getting better all the time, you make impossible possible. The suspense in the end.. wow, it's just awesome. The level of trust there.. I don't have the words for it.
