A more recent Christmas fic, set in the comics world, but it's not necessary to have read them. Just know that Spike's been gone for a while and Buffy's been working with a detective who knows about vampires and the "zompires" currently preying on the populace. One of them is a turned slayer Buffy has been trying to find and stake.

Very nice! I can't imagine why anyone would object against that particular happy ending :-)

I doubt he/she objected to the happy part of the ending, just that she wasn't expecting to see exactly how they got happy, :) I think it was the blow job, or the word "cock" that she wasn't expecting. I suck at remembering to warn for little things. *sigh* . Thanks for reading it!
