I really wanted to try something with A Christmas Carol this year - I love the fanfiction stories I've read based on this story and I love all the film adaptations. I have several audio book readings and even some old radio and earlier TV productions - Long overdue for me to try some graphics.

These three characters, for me, are three ghosts who had a huge effect on Buffy - Jenny as guilt/pass, Angel/Angelus as death/damage, and Joyce as loss/love. Spike in acts as spirit/guide and Buffy played the same role in the series for Spike as he did for her in the last season.

You are so right - but dealing with Buffy's ghost is always such a compelling subject. Season 10 is doing a great attempt with the ghosts for Buffy and Spike in their dark times of season six.

Same for Buffy as much as it is for the fans. dealing with and trying to move beyond the negative effects of our past - the New Year is a new opportunity of time.

Well - I wanted to try again with this story - I actually have a third piece in mind that is more of a fun Spike POV.

I ran across this one in my great big Buffy screencaps collection - thought it was a good fit.
