So it was kinda on the edge of getting chilly on the beach, but George brought blankets.  They were blankets he'd totally "borrowed" from the dorm, true, but still.  Blankets.  In case Jean got cold.  Because that seemed like the thing to do and he was trying really hard not to screw things up.
