Beautifully told story. One of my favorite "comfort" writers is Jodi Picoult because she's so good at telling people's stories. This reads like a Jodi Picoult story.

Oh this story is so familiar! I have had consumers with similar situations and to work with them and various other agencies to keep them from eviction, health department calls, etc is quite the challenge. Animal hoarding is the saddest. Sigh
