I've had it up to *HERE* with political conversations and posts that are disrespectful of people with opposing views and vantage points. We need to step back and take a long hard look at ourselves as human beings and how we're treating one another.

Tell you what I get from time to time. I don't belong to either large political party nor any smaller ones. Sometimes I see stuff that makes sense from either side, but mostly it's just a bunch of people that will say anything to get elected (and a bunch of sheep that follow them). You know what comment I get more than any? "Get off of the fence." What fence? In other words, just because I don't want to be in one backyard or the other, I'm on a fence? And then they call me a Libertarian, and talk about Ayn Rand, and I just throw my arms up in resignation, apparently everyone needs to be pigeon-holed in 2011.

I know, like "gray" is less of a color to see things as than black or white...

I've been considering un-affilliating with either of the main parties, but I kind of like having a say is some sort of primary. Still pondering that option.
