Back with the promised post and first up The Lion in Winter. As esmerelda_t has already mentioned it is certainly not as grand as the film was in many ways.However we enjoyed it and our whole day out generally especially the Mint leaf restaurant = a chic Indian restaurant and bar in a cellar on the corner of Haymarket

Well you spent it in the company of the dashing Admiral Cochrane :)
but yes indeed - hot - and loud. we were in the 8th row of the stalls and there was a lot of SHOUTING by everyone which wsa slightly hard on the ears :)
