This is a kind of place holder for several things which I hope to post fairly rapidly.
First up will be my half of review of last nights successful visit to see Mr Lindsay in The Lion in winter to view his latest foray into playing old gits with anger management issues as I called them last week.This - er - designation - has occasioned some - er -

*waves* Oh yea, life's like that, sin't it? I have a daily master list, with mum stuff, governor stuff, tutor stuff and author stuff in columns to keep me in line.

I'll kick off Advent - I think I'm doing the 'odd day'? Have borrowed a Book of Common Prayer from church for the purpose!

And I loved Myloden's advent thing last year. So much to think about. Having you in on it too makes it twice as good. (And hopefully half the work for each of you.)

There was a story in my paper this morning about a shipwreck off Wales. (The paper had a diagram for idiots, showing where Wales was.) Some of the men may have been in immersion suits-- maybe some are still alive.

So, this morning, thinking of dangers at sea. Fire of course, first and biggest. Surprises some land people. But the Admiral would understand. But also, having your ship wreck or sink as happened here-- still a terrible danger.

I hope they come home safe.
