I like the energy of the Hugo- and how you describe something I have often felt = that a poem can lead to another one and to another set of thoughts.

But I took the afternoon to browse your poetry tag and came across John Maynard by Fontane. Amaraal suggested that. Maybe one day you can include Die Brück' am Tay which is often regarded as the twin piece to John Maynard? As the title suggests, the poem is about the collapse of Tay Bridge in 1879.
