General update

That my Spring icon is still up must be a sign of how shockingly bad I have been so far at keeping up on LJ but I have made a resolution - a Summer one for a change to improve .I have been not really in a home of my own for nearly a year now and while things are moving it it is only slowly and I think disorientating perhaps - if that is any excuse

Hi! just stopping by to say hello and say thank you for the v-gift. The mimosa is very pretty. :) I'm glad to see a long and generally happy update from you. I still think of you and the age of sail and Holmes folks even though I'm not around a lot lately To celebrate my birthday, I'm taking my mom (who I am good friends with, but who is also my only companion who doesn't have to work today) to see Mr. Holmes. A slightly sad choice but an irresistible one. Have you seen it?

Hope you and your mum liked the film. Sadly so far I have not seen it = like you I Could not find anyone free to go when I could and when I did have someone offer we could no longer find it on in any of the cinemas nearby.
I shall stream it off Amazon prime or whatever other method comes first to be available to me. I am told it is good - and I couldn't really see that it would not be - though as you say sad too.
