I offered a general critique of this in my email, but regrettably didn't get chance to express my enjoyment in comparable detail. Hopefully, I can now rectify that

Sorry for the late reply. It's been quite a busy week for me. But anyway thanks so much for your feedback. XDDD
While I'm unsure of the accepted parenting practices of the time and region in question..."
Your so right, I'm also doubtful on how I can deliver Juste's fatherly sentiment, even though this is based on a game, the era that I wrote should be presented at least accurately. :D
It's a real challenge anyway but I just hope I communicate clearly on this fic that Juste is clearly attached and very protective of Richter. I may have to post another installment of this fic, that is on Richter's perspective as a grown man. After his sojourn on Alucard's cabin.
I'm happy to hear that you're well; hopefully, you'll enjoy a relaxing weekend.
With regard to my previous comments, I apologise, I mustn't have expressed myself adequately. I hadn't intended to challenge your portrayal of the relationship between father and son, only to admit my unfamiliarity with the typical behaviour of that time and to say that - recognising the potential for divergence in any trend of sentiment - I found your depiction to be plausible and tender. Certainly, Juste's affection was evident.
But, my communicatory mishaps aside, I look forward to reading your new story. Richter's mood and mixed emotions following his escape from Dracula's Castle, should prove interesting to read and, I hope, equally so to write.
