[KyuMin Fic]: Run away with me

Oct 10, 2010 08:30

The first fan fiction I made from desiring  Kyuhyun and Sungmin too much. It's hard not to get addicted.

Title: Run away with me
Rating: PG
Pairing: KyuMin,
Genre: Fluff, Romance, Drama
Summary:  Kyuhyun needed help to get away from his fans and guess who saves him?

Kyuhyun was getting restless. It was one of those moments where he wished he had brought along his laptop. The solo photoshoot had been done for an hour yet the service that was supposed to pick him up sure was taking a long time to arrive. People won't stop talking to him and it's getting harder to contain himself. He's tired and and he just wants some quiet time. He looked out and saw a small park nearby. After acting like he had a phone call, he bid farewell to them and stepped out of the building. He noticed the city lights had now replaced the sun that has been long gone.

As he sat down on one of the benches, he realized it was a bad move to go there. He won't be able to see the van from where he is and people (again) are starting to look at him. He had to start walking. It dawned on him that people might recognize him. Things  weren't like before where he can go anywhere and no one would care. Pushing his cap lower to cover his face he continued walking face down.

Things had been going okay until a group of girls passed by him.
"Was that Kyuhyun Oppa?" he heard one say.
"Who?"
"Cho Kyuhyun! Of Super Junior!"

"Oh come on!"
"Hold on, that does look like him!"
He started to walk faster but was abruptly stopped by a girl who had cut his path.
"Can I ask for an autograph?"

Crap, he thought. He was alone, no security in sight and the van that was supposed to pick him up wasn't here.
"Uh..." Should he fake it? Should he say he wasn't himself and that she has been mistaken?
In less than a minute the girls had started to add up. Has he really become this famous? His brows furrowed as he kept on deciding what to do. Suddenly a hand held his arm. He looked at the owner of the hand and saw it was a guy who also had half of his face covered by a baseball cap. The guy mouthed, "Let's go."

They suddenly broke into a run. Who can not recognize those lips that just talked to him?

Sungmin didn't let go of his hand as they tried to escape.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Kyuhyun had to ask after seeing that the fans have now started to follow them. Sungmin, being the cute being that he is, quickly winked at him.

"Trust me. Now run fast!"

Following as what he was told to do, they ran through the alleys and did quick turns to whatever streets Sungmin suggested. He wondered why his hyung seemed to know the area.

They stopped at a one narrow alley and took a rest. Sungmin called the driver and said to meet them at the usual spot. It seems like his hyung experienced this often. He was huffing badly and his feet hurt. He was wearing leathers anyway.

They lost some of the fans but they have to make sure. They had to stay still until the van arrives.

Sungmin slowly looked up at his dongsaeng since the guy is a bit taller than him. Seeing how serious Kyuhyun's face was, he can't help but chuckle a bit while covering his lips with his fingers.

"What?" Kyuhyun had to ask.
"You're too tense."
With that he let go the breath he didn't know he was holding in. He sighed. He leaned against the red brick wall behind him and rubbed the back of his neck.

Later on, he can feel a curve forming on his lips.

Just as he was about to talk Sungmin suddenly grabbed his jacket and pulled him close.
"Put your arms around me."
"What?" he asked with his eyebrows raised.
He blinked and can't believe what he just heard.
Next thing he knew, he was already imprisoning his hyung's body in between his arms against the wall with the help of the guy in front of him. As if that wasn't enough, Sungmin used the edge of his hand to bend Kyuhyun's elbow which brought their bodies closer.  Kyuhyun can feel his breath quickening and he's scared his hyung might feel it.
"Some of the girls from a while ago are at the end of the street, they might recognize us."
Before Kyuhyun had the chance to look at the crowd Sungmin held his cheek with one hand to stop his head from turning.

"Don't look, silly! They'll see you."

Feeling Sungmin's hand on his cheek was kind of comforting. But he sure is embarrassed. He had never been this close with anyone for quite sometime. The light coming from the end of the alley makes his hyung's face glow from the darkness.  He wants to stare at those lips that's pouting right now, those foxy eyes that can easily intimidate but he can't. All he can do is stare at his hand on the wall and rely on his peripheral vision to look at him.

"Thank you."

Sungmin suddenly looked up at him which made him more uneasy.
"For always helping me when I need it. I know I can be a pain sometimes..."

He remembered those instances when Sungmin would always wake him up after playing Starcraft all night. Also how his hyung would still laugh at his jokes no matter how lame it was which would eventually encourage him to joke around some more.

He was smiling shyly now as he felt Sungmin's chest moving slightly. His hyung was laughing softly.

"You know I'll always be coming for you anyway."

He can't help himself but meet Sungmin's gaze after those words were said to him. His heart may have skipped a beat but what happened after that made him lose his breath.

His eyes widened as Sungmin's soft lips pressed against his. A warm feeling rose in his chest and as he allowed it to wash over him, he closed his eyes. The kiss was light and sweet but it ended too fast.

"The van's here!"

Sungmin then intertwined the fingers of his left hand in Kyuhyun's.

"Shall we?"

After he willingly nodded they both pushed their caps lower to cover their face and walked out on to the streetlights. Sungmin knocked at the door of the van to signal the driver to unlock the door. Once they're in, they both took off their caps and let out a relieved laugh.
Kyuhyun looked at the crowd from the window as the van started to move. He was confused when he saw that the people there were a group of old men and women.

"Hyung?"
"Hm?" Sungmin answered as he brushed his hair with his fingers while looking at the rearview mirror upfront.
"The people back there were old men and-"
"I know."
"But wha- how- You mean..?"
Sungmin smirked and moved closer to him. He froze as his heart started beating rapidly. He felt his hyung's hand on his cheek and somehow that relaxed him. The hand felt so good being there. He held Sungmin's hand and closed his eyes.

"Kyuhyun..."

Just a bit more, his mind said. He wanted to enjoy this moment a bit more.

"Kyuhyun.."
"Hm?"
"Wake up."
Suddenly he noticed the darkness. He opened his eyes and saw Sungmin kneeling beside him. They were in their room, him lying on his bed, and the morning light was coming in from the window.

"It's almost time to attend our shoot, shower up."
He blinked twice before it came to him.
"You okay Kyu?"
Sungmin suddenly leaned his forehead against his dongsaeng's to feel his temperature.

"I-uh.." Kyuhyun stuttered as he looked away immediately.
"You don't seem sick. Oh well, get up okay? Breakfast is ready by the way."
Sungmin stood up and and all Kyuhyun can do was stare at his hyung making his way out of the room.

He placed a hand on the cheek Sungmin had touched in his dream and with that he let out a sigh. His heart felt heavy now that he can never see Sungmin the same way again.

As much as he wants to call him to come back, he can only bury his face into his pillow and wish that the dream was real.
