Turns out I still one code each for the Archive of Our Own and Dreamwidth. Does anyone want them?

I haven't started my Yuletide fic yet, but I have finished reviewing canon, and it's an even better canon than I remembered it being.

The article you linked was an interesting read!

I find the fandom hatred of Amy a little silly. She's an interesting and well drawn out character, just like Jo, and it's hardly as though she's the villain of the piece.

That said, I also like some Jo and Laurie get married AU fics a great deal. One of the fun things about writing fic is that one can drown Amy and marry Jo to Laurie in the aftermath in one, then revive poor Amy for use in a happy canon-compliant fic about a romantic picnic between her and Laurie, and finish the writing spree off with a bit of modern AU in which Jo is a lesbian.

Yeah, that's what I love about fanfiction. Multiple contradicting universes existing all at once, and the ability to read three different versions of the same missing scene.
