So I finished orientation and the first week of classes and I'm finding it pretty easy to fall back into the roll of student. I suppose it's a role I've spent most of my life playing... But the fact is, I quite like it. I like talking to people about academic articles, and discussing ideas for papers, and all that fun stuff

booooo social obligations. but a professional degree, what does that mean exactly ? :O but at least you don't have to break up your class days like I had to towards the end. m-w-f or t-h or whatever. that sucked so much T_T;;

by professional degree I just mean it's a degree where the main purpose is to get a job rather than to learn something? kind of? ;p I mean still learning, but more skills than theory I guess. Like, business, accounting, journalism, medical school, law school are all professional degrees. but something like music, history, english, philosophy doesn't lead to any specific job so they're 'academic' or research degrees.
I had to do the MWF/TTh thing for my first degree. I'll probably have to do it again, but at least for this semester I kind of lucked out with the only two days a week. :)
