Mind if I throw something at you? I'm still going UM and AH and DUNNO over whether to let Jersey's world have an LBP; I'm tending not to because of the number of Spartan pups I already have, and because I have an RvB!Spartan!Jersey on the go already. Though I fully intend to end up with him at least temporarily getting a Spartan LOL.

However - given the timescale, and that they need to be getting troops out of the door faster than they ever have before; I'm considering the possibility that they may be using STARC protocols on the Marines to speed up training. What do you think? Could this work?))

Sweet. He was actually the first decent candidate I spotted when I did a PB hunt; I usually spend ages searching but I got lucky right away.

I doubt he'd be sleeping much anyway, given everything (and given I'm half tempted to dump even greater quantities of angst on his door re: New York and possibly dad's ship XD - poor guy, I'm wondering when things will look up!). Wondering how much time they'd be able to shave off training by using it, too... and Jersey is definitely safe from THE BIG side effect. *gives him a hug* Spooky stuff, too, but sounds like it could be fun to explore.

((Heck yes. Took me forever to find a woman that looked "grrrrSCIENCEANDPOLOTICS" enough, too. That and I couldn't figure out if there's a real UNSC logo or not. For an NPC she's...rather vocal. It's just too much fun to write up these programs and protocols and such. :x (Mwahaha. ~glomps K ( ... )

One, is there a technical psychobabble term for STARCer?

Two, extent of the collective-unconscious whatever? Would Jersey's group, who only get 9 weeks of it and who probably get split up among other units who may or may not have had the works, be getting any effects overall? I know it wouldn't be a fraction as much as what the LBPs get but I don't want to mention anything and screw the details up...))
