Computer issue resolved

A new computer has been ordered. I'm replacing my desktop system with a Dell M1730 XPS laptop. 2.5 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB of memory, GeForce 8700M video, 200 GB 7200 RPM hard drive, 8x DVD burner, AEGIA PhysX accelerator, and so on. Much more power in a much smaller package. I'll be able to retire my mid-tower system and conserve space in the office ( Read more... )

How much did you pay for the physics chip because nVidia are adding the technology via a driver update to 8x cards, since nVidia bought out AEGIA. :X

But yeah, noice.

Actually, the physics accelerator is stock on the M1730s; it's built into the base cost of the system.

ah, that's OK then, they probably get the for pennies now anyway that nVidia own them.
