Oh you have a dinosaur?~ &hearts

I met one in the wilderness, I don't see what all the panic would be about! The one I encountered seemed entirely friendly and adorable!

It's not so much that I have a dinosaur as we have each other?

I can only guess that some other folks ran into the not-so-nice type of dinos when they trekked on down into the Wilderness last week. Or perhaps the population is just biased against cold-blooded animals. I can't tell. Either way, it's kind of ridiculous.

I see! That is even better isn't it?

I don't see why anyone would feel that way! Lizardly creatures seem so adorable! Always elegant and exotic!

I think it's because they don't fall into the standard definition of 'cute and cuddly'. Which personally I think is just a subconscious manifestation of societal norms and the reinforcement of a narrow-minded definition of 'beauty'.

She seems inclined to follow me pretty much everywhere. Which means that you two will meet soon enough. Apparently, she likes books! So you two may get along swimmingly.

I will be delighted to meet her. Does she have any particular type of book she favors? Or shall I just test my luck?

She doesn't seem to like much contemporary stuff. It seems like the older it is, the more she likes it -- which I guess makes sense.

I actually did some research the other day and I want to say she's a deinonychus with a pedicure? wow, deja vu much?

We 'came across' one another in the Wilderness when me and Scales were busy fighting the good fight and she sort of followed me home.

Weird, right?

You're going to have to describe her for me; all I know about them is that some look like spiky turtles, some are big with long necks and tails, and then there are the Ones With Teeth. A pedicure? Fashionable dinosaurs, now there's an unexpected one.

That is completely, totally odd. And yet, at the same time, incredibly neat. Your very own dinosaur? How many people get that kind of an opportunity?

Ah, this one has a long snout and kind of tiny arms in front and a long tail and stands upright (for the most part). There are a lot of different kinds that are similar to her. Velociraptors, but they're tiny, and T-Rex's (sort of, but not quite). She definitely has teeth, but then again -- most of them do.

She's a very well-behaved dinosaur, so even though the strange-factor's pretty high, it makes up fairly quickly with the neat-factor it's true.

See now, why can't everybody have a reaction like you? In the elevators people cower in the corners like I have the bubonic plague.

god you are such a guy I can just tell, alright? It's kind I just knew. Or she told me.
