Truth or Dare.

What an interesting proposition.

Thank you, Miss Serra, for indulging me yesterday. I'll have to seek out your company again, some time. I hope that it wasn't too much of a bother for you.

Truth or Dare?

Is that a request or an offer, Mr. Gray?

Oh, well, I can blame anything that goes off on the curse day, can't I?

Dare.

There's a set of small houses, nearby Xanadu. Come to number 324.

I think that can be arranged, I take it someone will be there waiting for me or will I just end up there all alone and forlorn?

And I believe the question to you, Sir, is truth or dare? Perhaps we can continue as I head out.

Someone will be waiting there.

Truth, because at this point, it might be easier.

And what, pray tell, do you think of me?

I think you're probably one of the few people in the City who actually has an interest in the same things I do.

I have no interest in didactism, or in continuing a line of how to properly behave.

I think that's something we both can agree on, Mr. Gray.

I shouldn't be more than a few more minutes, if there was something else you wanted to ask me before my arrival...?

I think I'd just prefer you to arrive.

[True to her word, Mara arrived a few scant minutes later, knocking on the door and checking her Network device with a frown. Things were not well in the City and temptation was coming from places that were hard to resist.]

[He opens the door. His house is quiet and surprisingly neat for a bachelor]

Come in.

[She closes the device with a snap, she won't be made a fool of by Kirk, not again, even it it's not entirely in his control. She enters the house, admiring it's order, and starts to remove the light jacket she was wearing.]

Mr. Gray, I presume? Quite the lovely home you have.

Yes, apologies, I should rather a butler open the door, but I'm a bit bereft of waitstaff at the moment.

[He offers to take her coat]

We all make do here in the City, it's why we're all so eager to make new friends.

[Let him make of that statement what he will, she's already decided that today she's throwing out the rules she's lived by the last few weeks. She hands him the coat, and smooths the skirt she's wearing to settle it as she comes further into the small house.]

Now that I'm here, I believe that was a dare fulfilled. Are we continuing to play or did you have other games in mind?

[He moves in behind her]

What kind of games would you suggest?

Perhaps something that involves fewer clothes, or closer contact?

[She fights the urge to lean back into him, she doesn't want to appear too... eager, but his voice behind her is a temptation she knows she won't say no to.]

I didn't think you invited me here for cards.
