I was 5 when my sister was born. I know for the week my Mom was due I went to stay with my grandparents.

It was a plan that seemed to work out well for all involved.

Having a sibling is pretty cool. I hope it doesn't take him long to figure that out.

Maybe he's being difficult because he knows or senses that things are going to change and he won't be the baby anymore?

That's what I saw with the girly I care for. Her brothers were a big shock and she was a PAIN for the month leading up and a month after. Needing to be the baby and really...emotional.

I think some folks still successfully gossip by creating an intricate set of filter lists. I don't trust myself enough not to oops horribly with something like that, though, so I talk behind people's backs right in front of them. Most times they just ignore me. :)

Still monitoring your journal and Emerald's for news. I'd suggest you bring Jago over here for a parent-relaxing visit, but my gals are sick, and you totally don't need that.

Well, and we've got the new baby now, so there's no relaxation to be had.

And I don't really want to gossip as much as say nice things about people, without everyone else wondering "why isn't he saying nice things about me" or if I don't specify who I'm talking about, then they wonder if it's them or not.

I know I get shy when people compliment me publicly, too, so I'm worried to put other people in that position.
