Rita: "Michael, um,  the apartment we had assigned to you is going to require new carpet. The only problem is that getting new carpet is going to take a few months."
Me: "Um, I'm kind of on a time frame here, Ms. Rita. Is there anyway to speed this up?"
Rita: "No, not really
