IPD training wasn't proving particuarly difficult, not that Seifer had expected that it would. He was always the first one there and he had the rules down pat, including, and he relished this one, the fact he could bring in anyone causing a disturbance. The lesson on conflict resolution had been dull as hell but Seifer was strong enough he figured he could deal with any trouble the old fashioned way.
Anyway, he figured it wouldn't be long until he was out there for real. And he couldn't wait. Oh, he was annoyed at being saddled with some idiot 'partner' to babysit and he was already wondering if he could mix up the patrols a bit, maybe cut into dinosaur territority; at least then he'd avoid having to answer stupid questions from newbies, but mostly he was just excited to have a bit of power again, to be able to scare people into being ordered and quiet. It would be nice to be part of something, to have a goal no matter how lowly. And, of course once he was on the IPD he could make sure nobody bothered Luke or Arya over anything meaningless like a training injury they might cause.
He was just thinking about that, as he finished the day's training, when he saw Keith Mars walking over towards him and he turned to give him a questioning look, not even attempting to snap to any kind of attention.
