I feel bad for JLC, too. It would have been nice if the show hadn't been so caught up in her ~mystery~ that it never allowed her to be the normal human being she turned out to be in the end (though hey, due credit to Moffat for being clinically unable to write any woman as a rounded human being, anyway).
