Isn't it? I think today, I shall tackle chapter two. After I shower and eat something.

I think I've read one Hardy Boy's book, or somehting of that ilk (there was something about gold!) but when I was little I had this `three-books-in-one` kinda book about thsi girl with a horse and yeah, you know what? THEY SOLVED MYSTERIES! =DDDDD
All that AND lots of people wanted to steal the sooper spesheaul horse of wunduh.

The illustration of this book is amazing, notice the action stance of the agent! How natural looking! How totally not like a gorilla attempting to do ballet. And see the detail put into people's faces? Why, I can clearly tell that some of them have eyes!

Looking forward to the next action packed chapter, in which I'm certain someone's jewlery will go missing! (Or maybe the children's gifts?)

I think a book about a girl and her horse who solved mysteries would be an accurate representation of everything I ever read between the ages of 9 and 13. Especially if she could turn into animals at will and was a member of a babysitting club.

All I can really see when I look at this illustration is Nan's freakishly squashed-looking head. I didn't even notice the agent's hilarious posture until you pointed it out. XD

I plan on getting chapter two up later today!

Is it just me, or does the agent in the ACTION PACKED ILLUSTRATION OF AWESOME! (TM) look like he just tossed off a nice jump shot in a game of recreation basketball at the YMCA after work?

It's not just you.

Is it just me, or does it look like Nan's head got caught in a cider press?

Nah, she's just... uh... narrow-boned?

Avian-boned, perhaps. The series could only be improved by Nan saying, "Ouch, my bones," every few minutes.

I saw that picture before I read your previous posts leading up to this, and it was very distracting. This whole post is very distracting - I will blame you when I go yet another night without finishing my rock journal!

When I was a kid, I always thought Nan and Bert were so grown up.

BWAHAHAHAHAAAAA.

I'm going to do chapter two today, after I do other things!

I know what you mean. Same with the BSC books, though those were helped by the fact that the cover illustrations were always of girls who didn't look a day under seventeen.
