This Shouldn't Be That Difficult!

I thought that I had better procrastinate take a break from homework. I've actually been doing well and have accomplished quite a bit today!

How is it that I can sit down and type out 1000+ word fanfic, but I can't write a 2 page paper about the differences between Sophocles' and Homer's portrayal of women in Antigone and the Odyssey?

Yeah I am taking a break from my paper as well it is finished I just have to review it again. Mine is due Monday. I can so relate how come I can do the same thing type out a fanfic in a snap but it takes me days to write a paper for my classes. Why can't they both be easy.

I think the difference has to do with the mood you have to be in to write them. Fanfiction is sitting in a comfy chair; whereas essays require sitting on a hardback chair with a metaphorical stick up your bottom. Or was that just my essays?
