have found out in the last week or so that two of my friends that i've known for ages are now engaged..... my oldest friend (well in the how long i've known them sense anyway) has just gotten engaged to a guy i've never met, and another one has just gotten engaged to some guy who's leaving in the navy at the end of next month

I had that dilema not long ago, lotsa people I knew were getting married, getting engaged, etc. It does make you wonder where you've been and what you've been doing, and I know for myself, I have yet to find an answer ( I just write it off as me being useless :P ). I'm sure thing's will happen when they're meant to, it's just a matter or time and patience.
