if you dont find someone to help you, i can at least find out how my friend's boyfriend makes the mermaids that she sells. he cuts them out of wood and then she paints and decorates them...

oh, i know how i'm gonna make the doll... that's not the problem. i'm just totally unskilled with woodcutting and need help with that part.

I don't know what kind of wood you're using, but maybe you could use a jewler's saw or something. If it's not thick.
