I am kinda goofy for all of this. I swear, I'm silly about Luke to the point that watching his "birth" gets me all giddy.

Boy, do I have all kinds of things to say about THIS! First of all, Luke Snyder - bringing the dramz from the get-go. *love* Second, how adorable is Holden in these scenes? So incredibly sweet and hunklicious and rockin' those acid wash jeans like nobody's business. Third, I didn't check, but I'm guessing that Martha had not had a baby in real life before she shot this. She'd be doing a lot more screaming. And finally, Damian. Dayum. Not only is he looking fine and so much sweeter, at least in this clip, than in later years, but is anyone besides me totally fascinated by the fact that his English seemed remarkably better here, early on in the show, than it was during his last months on the show?

This rewatch is going to kick ass.

Paolo's English really was hit and miss over the years. He's such a sexy beast.

Oh, god Paolo's English... When he first appeared on the show it was abysmal. Poor guy barely spoke English and understood it even less. He would deliver his lines so poorly and with such a thick accent, you couldn't help but find his struggle with the language simultaneously adorable and embarrassing. His English was better here (in the clip) because he was taking English lessons at the time and was practicing speaking slower like Americans do (in comparison to the rapid fire of the Italian language).

As to the clip, I was a HUGE Damian fan during that time, and to this day it pisses me off that it was Holden who was there for Luke's birth instead of Damian.

Aaaah - this does my heart good! From the moment we had the thunderclap as Holden's 'do' appeared through the doorway, I knew this rewatch was going to be something special ... Good times!

I like Holden here and even in the last years when he wasn't so popular. He's a good guy.

I like Holden here, too. In later years, I had some issues with him (and with Jon's sonambulant performances), but I have fondness for Holden dating back to when he was first on the show. I was just a kid, but I watched it that summer because the whole stable boy thing was v.v. enticing to me, even at an early age. :D
