This week's installment in the Eric Sheffer Stevens Film Festival features Eric in a small role in a play-within-a-play-within-a-movie. Eric, poor man's Stephen Moyer, and fabulous Broadway actress Julia Murney (wish she was singing in this, because boy does that woman have a set of pipes!) perform in a meta play that moves Mira Sorvino to tears ( Read more... )

I love him in stripes!

I see a recurring theme among people hiring Broadway people and not allowing them to sing. :| Do enjoy hearing what he was given. If only this were the focus of the movie. But, of course, ESS does not allow us to see him for more than 5 minutes anywhere.

Right? Cheyenne on Glee. Idina in Enchanted. I mean, I get that they're actors as well, but come on now! At least this wasn't a musical, so they have a reasonable excuse.

Eric clearly enjoys taunting us with this brief appearances. If only they were appearances in his briefs.

And I'm traumatized that Bryan D'Arcy James is going to be in that new Glee-like show on NBC. Why do I think we'll rarely see him and he won't get to sing???

Let's hope that's not the case!

Meanwhile, Paltrow got to sing all the damn time on Glee. I mean, she's a decent singer, but....

Eric is a little scruffy here, with longer hair, and although I prefer it shorter, he does look quite fetching.

I agree. I prefer it shorter, as long as it is not Greta-styled.

I really want to see him in a bigger movie role, so I hope we'll eventually get to see LLRT.

LOL, yes, the comb-out was dreadful!

I do hope we'll see LLRT at some point. I think people who backed it were promised a DVD, so that should materialize...
