In today's episode, Reid agrees to operate on Noah, but only if he can do it immediately, kthx. Luke is hesitant to rush into things, probably because this is Oakdale and he's used to plot points such as this being dragged out interminably for months. (Never fear, Luke, it will be.) Reid also meets Bob and Kim for the first time, clearly charming Bob with his rugged good looks and rakish arrogance charm. Kim is a harder sell.

Hey, remember I was saying on Monday that it surely wouldn't take long for Noah to get mad at Luke? If there's one thing we can depend on dear Mr. Mayer for, it's turning on Luke when the going gets tough. It's as dependable as the tides, and today we see that Noah's tune has radically changed re: Luke blackmailing Reid. In happier news, Reid's escape attempt is thwarted by Kim, or more specifically, the back of Kim's car. All hail Mrs. Hughes!
