And we're back from hiatus! Hope everyone had a wonderful break but it's time to get back to Luke Snyder and all of his ~dramaz~ starting with a confrontation with Holden
( Read more... )
I know Holden was doing his best here, but I wish he was not so coy with his questions. When Luke told him to spit it out, it made me think that what he needed there was a man like Reid to just say: "Okay. I think you're gay." Or something honest? Instead, Holden kept on saying "you tell me" and all of that. Gah! And then, of course, they end up talking about Holden and Lily's love life... instead of really getting back to Luke's needs.

I completely agree. And that kind of coy comment would've been something Noah would've said, too. Reid would've just been like, "So, you're gay, Mr. Snyder, what's the big deal about that?" And Luke would've sputtered and been all, "No, no, I'm not...why would you say that?" And Reid would smirk and be like, "Well, I wasn't entirely sure until now, but it seemed pretty obvious the way you're always staring after that friend of yours. Kevin, Evan? What's-his-name."
Really? Things are that hard to put into words? How about, I think Luke is gay. See how easy that was Holden? *rolls eyes*
You know when watching this I actually realized that up until Reid, I don't think he could really enjoy and understand all there is to being gay (if you know what I mean). Because at first, he was heistant about coming out of the closet and then once Noah came around he was trying to drag Noah out of the closet and then he had to put up with Noah's douchiness (big surprise). So, he really couldn't full embrace being gay until post-Noah.
