Penny gave him a look as they stood. "Let me at least pay for mine."
"Nope," Evan said, holding the ticket up over his head as Penny reached for it.
"That's cheating," Penny said, poking his ribs with the tip of her finger.
He laughed, lowering his arms as he twisted away from her. "So is that."

OH GOOD LORD, THEY ARE SO PRECIOUS. This pairing, Mary, THIS PAIRING. I JUST ADORE THEM. ♥ ♥ ♥

And... the other relationships in this fic, too - the April-Penny BFFness, the father-daughter stuff, even April and Whitman being so banter-y XD. I love it all!
