Sadly, I can't really see either one of them getting very into the Potter phenomenon. They were too old for it when it started, and I don't think either of them reads fantasy or children's lit for fun.
they both think it's ridiculous, but Lee would probably keep a Linkedin page for work because everyone is expected to do it. and Kara would have an empty Facebook page she never posts on because she's not into sharing stuff about herself in general and doesn't care for the 'friending' culture of Facebook.
I think Lee would assiduously and carefully use all of his social media to promote himself as the "good son" because he has political aspirations. He'd never post pictures of himself, more likely photos of events that the voting public might like. If you ask him, he'll deny it and say he's just interested in those things. Kara would bust on him and one night make a fake Lee Adama page, onto which she posts dirty photographs of the two of them together. She fakes him out and they have a huge argument that ends up in kisses and tickles and much more.
While Zak is still with Kara, Lee checks out online dating sites and panics because it's all to weird and unfamiliar. He keeps looking, though, because he's lonely.
One night he's shocked to find out that someone has winked at him. (He doesn't have a photo on his profile.) When he clicks on the link, it's Kara. Later he finds out that Kara and Zak have broken up and Lee goes on his first date via online dating. They live happily ever after. Mostly. ;)
Lee would be all over organic eating, the slow food movement and possibly even owning his own chickens. Kara thinks the whole thing is kind of ridiculous until she realizes that free-range grass fed, locally sourced meats do taste better. She's still not on board with the chickens.

They'd both avoid Twitter like the plague.
