It's Dragon*Con week, so let's get geeky!

There is a tendency in fanfic for Lee to be the nerdy one - the whole, stickler for rules, let's read this obscure section of an old law book, thing.

But what about Kara?

What about Lee outside of the academic?

What would our OTP be geeking out over?

huh, I've also enjoyed the general fanon I've read and seen around that while Kara works hard to keep up an appearance of never cracking a book, that she takes flying incredibly seriously and knows the flight manuals and documentation backwards and forwards.

I've read the series bible that says Lee seriously loves cooking, so I like to think of him as the type who'd get seriously worked up over sea salt vs rock salt, and might even like baking in his spare time/might like to prepare elaborate meals just for fun :) I also think he liked to read for fun/to educate himself whenever he could, if he read Zarek's book even when it was banned.

Kara, I see her - as bristow says - as the type who would never admit to putting in the effort, but secretly slogs her ass off and knows every rule in the book and can name every wire in her Viper. (we do see her sitting around fixing/working on birds more than once).

And I also see her as an art geek, I bet she liked to check out art books whenever she could even if she never studied formally.
