In lots of ways, Kara and Lee share many characteristics and details of hard upbringings. In other ways, they couldn't be more different. Though sometimes being together leads to an explosive outburst, we've seen them work together in a complementary kind of harmony that's pretty unique to them throughout the course of the show. Today's discussion

Basically we're all Lee and totally in love with Kara. EVERYTHING MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW.

I'm totally a Kara fan first and foremost, and yet I am very much a Lee--the overthinking, the practicality, the rule following, the annoyance at injustice (more personal than political), the romanticism, the complete fascination with Kara Thrace ;)

Although I do share a few traits with Kara -- outspokenness, impatience, a lack of tolerance for people who lack commitment or loyalty, a crazy loud laugh--I don't have much in common with her. Instead I love her (most) because she's everything I'm not.

Personality-wise I am a Lee, but I don't like his character nearly as much as Kara. Maybe the fact that we're polar opposites is what draws me to her, idk!
