Over on my livejournal I posted some deleted scenes from Black Market, Scar, Sacrifice and Captain's Hand. I recently came across an old post from beccatoria from five years ago where she had captured and saved them. Dave! These are amazing! I have only just dipped into the Black Market ones, but WOW do they ever provide a different image of Lee. I am so fascinated. I will be scouring them all tonight and tomorrow. BRILLIANT!!!

I've been a fan a long time, and I remembered these, but memory fades over so long a time. SciFi during its run would post deleted scenes on SciFi.com. A lot of them never made it DVD for whatever reason. At the time it must have been to give fans something new, if you just put what was on the web site on the DVDs, fans would be upset. However they should have been on the Complete Series release at least.

I find the Tigh and Adama one interesting. Simple scene that tells you alot. With this scene in mind, it makes more sense how Lee could climb the ranks as fast as he did. Shows Peggy has no XO, Lee is a possible man for the job. With this scene in mind it shows why Lee would have been tabbed for the job. He was up for XO anyway, and Peggy doesn't have any other qualified people for the job so Lee. A little scene sheds so much light on a situation.

We're all abuzz over on twitter talking about them, but the consensus is that they are a bit difficult to take in all at once! I've only watched two, but will continue watching tonight and over the weekend. I'll probably introduce a few at a time (with common themes) over at LAD over the next two months. We have our ficathon fics starting next week, so I want to leave ample room for that. I will probably not start with the Black Market stuff because there is so much.
