Elisa, here are two photographs of your mask.  I hope the item meets your approval.

[ooc: One picture shows the whole mask, which looks like it is made out of some kind of metal, painted red and gold.  The mask is the whole piece with a front plate and a back part that can snap on and the mask encases her entire head.  The second picture shows the ( Read more... )

Thank you so much, it's absolutely gorgeous. I love it. I can't wait to pick it up. When's a good time for me to come over?

And well, you're welcome. Your first? Really? I would've made more of an impression if I'd known. I promise the second will be better.

Any time you'd like to come and pick it up. It has a display case, too, so you can show it off.

The second? There's going to be another?

I'll come by tomorrow then. Around the same time.

Well, I do feel a little bad for your first one not having been all that good.

It wasn't bad. Though, I have no grounds for comparison.

You said you could show me things. What things?

What kind of masks? Are they those awesome latex ones they use in Bond?

Not those types. Imagine Iron Man and Wolverine. Hard masks made of various things.

[smiley face]

I've started making a few from recent commissions. Not sure what all I can make, but that doesn't mean I won't try.

You should've had a booth at the comic convention. It would've generated a lot of business.

Which college are you applying for?

I should have, but it would have been a problem since that place is very busy and I'd have needed a lot of assistance there. I wasn't here in time to sign up for anything like that anyway. There's always next year and DragonCon down in Atlanta. That one is very popular.

I'm thinking of trying my hand at an Art degree at Hunter College. It's not very far from my home.

You're sounding like somebody I know. She's always talking about how busy her bakery is, but never hires anybody to help. When is the Atlanta convention? You could always make masks in standard sizes to buy, small, medium and large, so you don't have to muck around with personal fittings, which take up a lot of time.

That's a great idea. How long do their degrees take?
