My question is, why is there a baking soda WITH aluminum? It's suppposed to be sodium bicarabonate (NaHCO3).... or at least, so I thought.

Wow, I knew there was "regular" and "aluminum free" (the kind I buy) baking powder, but I never realized there was aluminum in baking *soda*, too.

*Runs off to check baking soda in cupboard, since I avoid ingesting aluminum!*

I didn't think aluminum belonged in it.. The ingredient list in mine says Sodium Bicarbonate U.S.P.
