I've never had a spot like that on my scalp, but I used to have bad eczema outbreaks here and there. What worked the best for me was to use a salt scrub to exfoliate the area and then apply a healing oil - vitamin E, coconut, etc. The itching stopped immediately and it heals very quickly. Hopefully something like this might work?
