My nerves are officially shot to hell and in a very amusing way. Anytime anyone so much as sniffles in my general direction I'm hitting the floor running. The reason? Why out of 300 children 60 have all suddenly come down with serious flu symptoms that had them forced to not come into school this week. That's not including the ten or so who have

I hear you - where I am is the epicenter of swine flu for the whole state, lol. Don't touch your face! That's where the flu virus gets ya - through your eyes and nose. I'm terrible about rubbing my eyes all the time; I've been trying to catch myself before I do it, but it's not really working.

Oh god, I wear glasses so I'm always pushing them back up and thus have my hands near nose and eyes. That and I'm a compulsive chewer of things. I'm probably doomed if I ever leave the sanctity of the kitchen we sterilize to high hell.

Though, mostly I'm freaking out on the fact we could get shut down for an extended period of time, and I have no clue if they still pay us for that time or not. So I'm hoarding my paychecks in fear as well, because seriously, sixty kids all in this week alone. If one gets it then I would bet my TF toys several of them will have it and we all know what that will mean concerning panicked parents.
