::At first, the silence is blessed, the chance to be alone like a great weight off Kou's chest. Soon, though, the worry starts. He tries to push it away. His sister is fine. She has to be. He sent Dokugaku to follow her and make sure nothing happened, didn't he? He's just paranoid.::

::He manages to convince himself it's paranoia for nearly half an hour before he goes looking. When he hears about the earthquake, he realizes he's not just being paranoid. When he finds out about a girl who sounds for all the world like his sister being in the middle of the earthquake, the worry turns to dread. By the time he finds Dokugaku in the park, he's reached full-out panic.::
